Capital University College, UAE has rolled out specialized MBAs in Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management, in collaboration with the UK’s prestigious North Wales Business School, Glyndwr University.

According to the Times and Sunday Times University Guide 2022, Glyndwr is now ranked #2 in the UK and #1 in Wales for ‘Teaching Quality,’ up 14 places this year. Glyndwr University is also placed 66th among the top 100 universities in the UK, up more than 41 places from previous year, according to The Guardian Education Guide 2022.

Capital University College offers a 9-12 month MBA programme with a variety of teaching techniques, including online learning, on-campus sessions, and a blended learning option. The University offers weekend sessions with the same curriculum as the full-time MBA programme to assist students who are working full-time but want to add another feather to their cap with an MBA degree. Scholarships are also available to assist students in obtaining the qualification.

Capital University College hopes that by launching this programme, it would be able to address the expanding demands of the UAE economy through knowledge, opening the way for graduates in emerging fields. Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources, which were recently added specialisations, are all gaining prominence.

A marketing emphasis can help students prepare for careers in fast-growing industries such as Brand Marketing Management or Chief Brand Officer. A Finance MBA specialty can prepare graduates for positions such as Financial Advisor, Financial Analyst, Financial Manager, Hedge Fund Manager, or Investment Banker. Human Resources studies are tailored to go deep into Human Resources Analytics, Consulting, Operational Management, and Employment Law as an MBA specialisation.

Students will obtain a Level 7 Diploma in Business Strategy from Qualifi, UK, which is recognised by Ofqual, as well as an MBA degree from North Wales Business School, Glyndwr University, UK, which is authorised by the QAA, UK, upon completion of the programme.

Commenting on the launch, Dr. Vikas Nand Kumar Batheja, Co-Founder & Director, Capital University College says, “This year, we have introduced new MBA specializations at our Capital University College. This is to bridge the gap of aspiring professionals and the rapid advancements in the UAE region, which requires a high-caliber education hub. Our program is carefully designed to deliver rigour and flexibility, for our diverse cohorts to build foundations, but also explore interests and new directions.”

Adding to the same, Dr. Sanjay Batheja, Co-Founder & Director, Capital University College says, “We always strive to provide our MBA students with skills required in business startups, innovation, or entrepreneurship. In line with that effort, we are glad to launch the new MBA specializations that will help them have a perfect study plan that is required for a focused career. Our MBA programs have been in great demand for the last one year which has enabled us to introduce specializations for our students to have a nourishing education experience.”

BA (Hons) Business and BSc (Hons) Computing are two more degrees provided in conjunction with North Wales Business School, Glyndwr University. Students will receive several qualifications as a result of these UK programmes, as well as assured internships and professional experience. Students who complete these programmes will be able to progress to higher levels with ease.
