Careem announced a new AI-powered Grocery List tool that simplifies grocery shopping. The tool lets customers translate written or typed lists into instant online orders through the app.

Customers can take a photo, upload an image of their grocery list, or type it directly into the app. The AI scans the list, recognizes each item, and generates a tailored selection of matching products. This process allows users to add items and check out in seconds on a single easy-to-navigate page.

Chase Lario, VP of Careem Groceries, said the tool aims to make shopping more efficient and intuitive. He emphasized that Careem is focused on reducing the time customers spend on shopping so they can focus on what matters most.

Careem Groceries offers a wide range of products, including fresh produce and household essentials. Delivery is available within 15 minutes across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Careem Plus members benefit from free delivery on grocery and food orders, along with discounts on rides, home cleaning, and more.
