CES 2026 was announced as returning to Las Vegas from January 6 to 9. The global technology event will bring together leading companies, innovative startups, industry executives, global media, and government leaders. The event will focus on next generation technologies designed to address global challenges.

According to the Consumer Technology Association, owner and producer of CES, the event is expected to be one of the largest editions to date. Gary Shapiro, Executive Chair and CEO of CTA, said CES 2026 is where innovators connect, build partnerships, and conduct business at a global scale. He revealed that the show will feature thousands of exhibitors and more than 3,600 Innovation Award submissions. In addition, CES 2026 will span 13 venues across 2.6 million net square feet.

CES 2026 will highlight innovation across key technology areas. These include artificial intelligence, robotics, digital health, mobility, enterprise technology, energy, immersive entertainment, and accessibility. As a result, the event will showcase solutions aimed at improving productivity, safety, healthcare, and sustainability.

Several new experiences were announced for CES 2026. The CES Accessibility Stage, powered by Verizon Accessibility, will debut at The Venetian. It will feature three days of content focused on accessible technologies such as smart glasses, robotics, and voice activated home assistants. Meanwhile, the CES Creator Space will open to all attendees at the LVCC Central Hall, with programming focused on the creator economy.

In addition, CTA revealed the launch of CES Foundry at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The new destination will unite innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, and media. It will explore how artificial intelligence and quantum technologies are shaping the next era of innovation.

CES resources were also detailed. The CES App was announced as the primary tool for planning and navigating the show. This year’s app includes a new AI chatbot, transportation updates, translations for select sessions, and a secure QR based Attendee Connect feature. CES Tech Talk was also highlighted as a source for insights into top trends expected at CES 2026.

Top trends reported for CES 2026 include AI agents, digital twins, and AI on devices. Digital health will focus on precision medicine, wearables, and telehealth. Energy innovation will highlight solar, wind, nuclear, and alternative power sources. Mobility will cover air, land, and sea technologies, with emphasis on automation, connectivity, and energy. Robotics will be showcased across home, agriculture, and industrial applications.

CTA also announced an extensive keynote lineup. On January 5, AMD Chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su will deliver a keynote at The Venetian. On January 6, CTA leaders Gary Shapiro and Kinsey Fabrizio, along with Siemens President and CEO Dr. Roland Busch, will speak at The Venetian. Additional speakers reported include leaders from Microsoft, NVIDIA, PepsiCo, Havas, and McKinsey. Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang will deliver a keynote at Sphere later that day.

Further keynotes include Caterpillar CEO Joe Creed on January 7. An invite only Leaders in Technology Dinner will also feature ŌURA CEO Tom Hale. CTA President Kinsey Fabrizio stated that CES 2026 will feature more than 400 conference sessions with over 1,300 speakers, covering the future of technology and innovation.

CES 2026 will host Great Minds Sessions featuring executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and influencers. Topics will include digital health, sports business, computing, spatial computing, accessibility, and software defined vehicles. These sessions will take place primarily at the LVCC West Hall.

Conference programming was expanded across multiple tracks. These include accessibility, AI and robotics, creator economy, digital health, energy, enterprise, innovation policy, manufacturing, mobility, research, wearables, and women’s health. Each track will feature panels, fireside chats, and expert discussions.

The Innovation Policy Summit was also confirmed. CES will gather more than 200 policymakers to discuss global technology policy, including privacy, trade, competition, health, and autonomy. Sessions will feature U.S. Senators and federal agency leaders.

CES 2026 will span multiple venues across Las Vegas. The LVCC Central Hall will focus on home technology and immersive entertainment. North Hall will showcase enterprise innovation, AI, robotics, and smart communities. West Hall will host mobility technologies, including automotive, agriculture, and advanced air travel. South Hall will feature accessories and design focused products.

The Venetian will serve as the hub for smart living, digital health, energy management, and lifestyle technology. It will also host the CES Innovation Awards Showcase. Eureka Park at The Venetian will highlight global startups from regions including Europe, Asia, and North America.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas will host CES Foundry programming on January 7 and 8, including live demos, networking, and immersive content focused on AI and quantum. The program will conclude with a CES Foundry Celebration Event.

Media Days were also announced. Media only events will take place on January 4 and 5 at Mandalay Bay. These include CES Tech Trends to Watch and CES Unveiled Las Vegas. Major press conferences from global brands will follow on January 5.

CES 2026 is expected to deliver one of the most comprehensive global technology gatherings, reinforcing its position as a key platform for innovation, business, and policy discussions worldwide.
