Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP) announced the launch of Enterprise Browser, a new feature for Harmony SASE customers. The browser extends Zero Trust security to unmanaged devices such as contractors, BYOD users, and third-party partners. It delivers visibility, policy enforcement, and compliance-ready data protection without agents or endpoint ownership.

As hybrid workforces expand, unmanaged devices have become major security risks. Organizations face threats like data leakage, compliance gaps, and limited visibility into device hygiene. Traditional methods, including VPN provisioning or providing laptops, are costly and hinder compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and NIS2.

Check Point revealed that Enterprise Browser closes this gap by turning unmanaged devices into secure, Zero Trust endpoints. Built on Chromium, it creates an isolated, temporary workspace that enforces enterprise-grade controls for each session and removes all sensitive data when closed.

Amit Bareket, VP of SASE at Check Point, said enterprises cannot choose between productivity and security. He explained that Enterprise Browser enables fast access for third parties and BYOD users, while IT gains stronger compliance and visibility.

Key capabilities include:

  • Data isolation and automatic wipe after session close
  • Integrated DLP with restrictions on upload, download, copy/paste, printing, and watermarking
  • Agentless posture checks for antivirus, OS version, and encryption
  • Complete session visibility with history, screen capture, and recordings
  • Seamless integration with Harmony SASE and agentless ZTNA

Reported benefits include securing unmanaged devices, accelerating onboarding for third parties, ensuring compliance, and reducing IT overhead. The company stated the solution empowers distributed workforces without exposing critical systems or sensitive data.
