Cisco has unveiled new AgenticOps innovations for the AI era. First launched last year, Cisco AgenticOps is an agent-first IT operating model that enables autonomous action with built-in oversight. The new capabilities enhance networking, security, and observability, transforming how IT teams operate at scale.

Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer at Cisco, said, “For teams responsible for operating and securing distributed networks, AgenticOps represents a fundamental shift away from complexity. We are combining Cisco’s cross-domain visibility, purpose-built models, and governance to supercharge teams.”

Last year, Cisco introduced AgenticOps to redefine AI in networking and simplify modern IT operations. Powered by advanced AI and unified network data, solutions such as Agentic Workflows and AI Canvas help teams troubleshoot faster and automate securely.

Now, Cisco is extending agentic-driven operations across campus, branch, industrial, data center, cloud, and service provider environments. New tools include autonomous troubleshooting, continuous optimization, trusted validation, experience metrics, and workflow creation via Cisco AI Assistant. These enhancements improve network performance and user experience while reducing MTTR to minutes.

In data centers, AgenticOps enables early detection and intelligent event correlation. Service providers benefit from Crosswork AI, which identifies, diagnoses, and resolves complex multi-vendor issues efficiently.

Cisco Security Cloud Control now leverages AgenticOps for firewall operations. Proactive recommendations strengthen zero trust controls, detect elephant flows, and continuously ensure PCI-DSS compliance.

Observability is also enhanced. AI Agent Monitoring in Splunk Observability Cloud tracks the performance, cost, quality, and behavior of LLM and agentic applications, visualizing workflows for IT teams.

With these updates, Cisco is advancing AI-driven IT operations across networking, security, and observability. The new capabilities confirm that Cisco AgenticOps is a key platform for autonomous, agentic IT management.
