Cloud Box Technologies, systems integrator and IT services specialist in the Middle East, has announced its AI-first strategy with a focused three-pillar framework. The initiative is led by Laxmi Nageswari, who has been appointed as the Chief AI Officer (CAIO). This move reflects the company’s transition from a traditional IT infrastructure provider into a full-spectrum digital transformation partner that includes AI, automation, and cybersecurity.

The new CAIO role reinforces how Cloud Box Technologies is embedding artificial intelligence into the core of its offerings. Laxmi will lead strategy, innovation, partnerships, and capability development. In addition, AI will function as an integrated layer across all services rather than a standalone offering. This approach aims to strengthen consistency and scalability across solutions.

The company’s AI strategy is built on three pillars. First, it includes AI-based cybersecurity, data analytics, automation, and cloud integrated intelligence. This ensures AI is embedded across all services. Next, the Algo-as-a-Service (AaaS) model enables scalable and reusable AI models. As a result, customers can benefit from faster time-to-market with improved accessibility and consistency. At the core of this framework is the Centre of Excellence (CoE). It serves as a hub for governance, innovation, and talent development. It also supports research and promotes responsible AI adoption through best practices.

Together, these pillars transform AI from isolated initiatives into a unified capability across the organization. Consequently, the strategy enhances scalability, accelerates delivery, and strengthens long-term competitiveness. The integrated innovation ecosystem connects hardware, applications, and talent. This creates a cohesive platform for enterprise-wide AI adoption.

Ranjith Kaippada, Managing Director at Cloud Box Technologies commented that the three-pillar framework and the appointment of a Chief AI Officer strengthen the company’s ability to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions. He added that this aligns with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031. He further noted that this marks a key step in evolving into an all-encompassing digital transformation partner and leveraging AI effectively.

Laxmi Nageswari highlighted that the company’s approach focuses on end-to-end guidance from strategy formulation to execution. She emphasized a strong understanding of advanced technologies and operational realities faced by clients. Moreover, the goal is to bridge business and technology to drive innovation and deliver measurable outcomes. The focus remains on translating strategy into execution and building scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

In her role, Laxmi will oversee the integration and execution of the framework. Her responsibilities include aligning AI investments with business priorities and enabling scalable solutions through the AaaS model. She will also drive governance and innovation through the CoE. Additionally, she will ensure cross-team collaboration to prioritize high-impact AI use cases and measurable business outcomes.

In the near term, her focus will be on operationalizing the AI pillars and strengthening integration across them. This will support CoE-led innovation and enable structured delivery of production-ready AaaS solutions. It will also help establish a scalable AI delivery model. Her leadership is expected to systematize AI execution, demonstrate tangible value, and build a foundation for long-term growth.

Laxmi brings strategic vision, technical expertise, and ecosystem leadership. Her experience spans AI initiatives, industry-academia collaborations, and innovation programs. She has previously worked with Boston Limited, where she contributed to large-scale transformation initiatives. Her career includes leadership roles across multiple regions and industries, where she has led strategy through execution and enabled practical AI adoption.

With this announcement, Cloud Box Technologies strengthens its commitment to the market in United Arab Emirates, positioning itself at the forefront of AI-driven transformation in the region.
