Confluent, a global data streaming, announced the appointment of Karim Azar as Area Vice President (AVP) for the Middle East. In this new role, Karim will lead Confluent’s regional strategy, strengthen partner relationships, and advance the adoption of data streaming technologies.

Karim Azar brings extensive experience in technology, sales, and executive leadership. He previously served as Regional Vice President for the Middle East & Turkey at Cloudera, where he oversaw strategic initiatives and key client relationships. Before that, Karim held roles at BMC Software, including Territory Manager for the Middle East & North Africa, focusing on IT service management, data centre automation, and workload optimization.
