Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced its participation as a partner at the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) Summit 2026.

The summit will be held on January 13 and 14, 2026, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). It is a key event of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which will take place from January 11 to 15, 2026. The event is hosted by Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar).

According to DEWA, the ADSW Summit has become a major global platform for discussions on sustainability and innovation in the sustainable energy sector. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, said the summit supports dialogue on advanced solutions and technologies shaping the future of energy.

Al Tayer also highlighted the strategic partnership between DEWA and Masdar in renewable energy. He noted that the event brings together leaders, officials, and experts to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and encourage investment and partnerships in renewable energy.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, CEO of Masdar, said welcoming DEWA as an ADSW Summit Partner builds on a longstanding collaboration. He revealed that the partnership has delivered some of the UAE’s most significant clean energy projects.

He added that, as the global energy sector undergoes major transformation, organisations such as Masdar and DEWA must take decisive action to accelerate sustainable economic, social, and environmental progress.

As reported, DEWA’s participation is expected to contribute to discussions and outcomes at the global sustainability platform.
