du Pay, the advanced digital financial services subsidiary of du, has announced the launch of its new ‘Salary in the Digital Wallet’ (SITW) feature. The service allows the UAE workforce to receive their salaries directly into their du Pay digital wallets. The move aims to enhance access to simple, secure, and digital financial services for employees across the country.

The new functionality provides customers with a unique IBAN when registering with du Pay. This enables easy salary deposits into the digital wallet. Employees can access funds instantly through the du Pay mobile application and a physical du Pay card, facilitating cashless transactions.

The feature is particularly useful for UAE workers earning less than AED 5,000 per month, who often have limited or no access to traditional banking services. With du Pay, customers can open a zero-balance account, avoid cash handling, and benefit from digital transfers and payments.

Additionally, du Pay digital wallet services support international money transfers, bill payments, telco recharges, debit card ordering, and card payments.

The company revealed plans to expand its offerings to further digitize salary disbursements. This initiative allows UAE employers to provide a seamless and efficient payment solution, supporting the country’s vision for a digitized and inclusive workforce.
