Dubai Chamber of Commerce has announced the launch of the Dubai Delivery Business Group. The initiative aims to support the sector’s growth and provide a unified platform for delivery companies operating in the emirate.

This move aligns with the chamber’s ongoing efforts to enhance private sector representation across various industries. Currently, 106 Business Groups operate under the Dubai Chamber’s umbrella, all contributing to a stronger and more future-ready economy.

The new group will collaborate with both government entities and private sector stakeholders. It will focus on identifying sector trends, overcoming challenges, and exploring new opportunities. In addition, it aims to improve policy frameworks and ensure the long-term development of the delivery services sector.

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, revealed that the delivery sector is expanding rapidly. Key drivers include digital transformation, growing consumer demand, urban expansion, and population growth in Dubai.

  • The group will propose policy recommendations and support regulatory improvements.
  • It will promote global best practices, sustainable delivery, and the adoption of smart technologies such as AI and electric vehicles.

Moreover, the Business Group will address workforce wellbeing and encourage knowledge-sharing. It will also promote fair competition and advance professional standards across the industry.

Dubai’s Business Groups play a key role in enabling dialogue between the government and private sector. They help resolve policy issues and strengthen the competitiveness of the emirate’s economy.
