Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has announced a strategic partnership with XSOLLA, a global company that helps developers monetize and scale their video games. The collaboration aims to highlight key activities and thought leadership initiatives within the Dubai gaming sector.

The partnership was signed under the Dubai Program for Gaming 2033 (DPG33) during DFF’s participation at Gamescom 2025 in Germany last month. Thousands of visitors, international companies, and delegations explored Dubai’s gaming sector at the DFF-led Dubai Pavilion.

Under DPG33, DFF strengthened ties with companies including iBLOXX, a Dubai-based gaming firm that recently secured $5 million to develop its online game, Strayshot.

The Dubai Pavilion showcased several companies and video games, including Artisan Studios’ Lost Hellden, which recorded over 15,000 wishlist additions on Steam. Its promotional video gained more than 300,000 views on IGN, PlayStation, and Nintendo of America during the exhibition.

Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of DFF, revealed: “The local and international interest in Dubai’s gaming sector signals a strong appetite to explore and partner with one of the industry’s most promising markets. Dubai offers diverse investment opportunities, robust infrastructure, and competitive advantages for game developers and companies under DPG33.”

Gamescom provided a platform to showcase Dubai’s business-friendly environment. These partnerships aim to position Dubai as a hub for gaming talent, innovation, and industry growth.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of DFF, launched DPG33 in November 2023. The program aims to place Dubai among the world’s top 10 gaming hubs by 2033, creating 30,000 new jobs and boosting GDP by $1 billion.
