flydubai AWS collaboration was announced as the Dubai-based airline partnered with Amazon Web Services to strengthen its digital capabilities and enhance the customer journey using cloud and artificial intelligence technologies.

The agreement was revealed during a signing ceremony attended by Mohammed Hareb AlMheiri, Chief Procurement and Technology Officer at flydubai, and Werner Vogels, Chief Technology Officer at Amazon.

Under the collaboration, flydubai AWS teams will work within a structured innovation framework. The focus will be on generative AI for airline operations, data analytics, machine learning, and customer experience enhancement. As a result, the initiative is expected to support the airline’s digital services and long-term growth strategy.

Mohammed Hareb AlMheiri stated that the collaboration marks a key step in flydubai’s digital evolution. He noted that working with AWS will help introduce new digital capabilities, improve operational processes, and enhance customer service, while supporting the airline’s agile business model.

Meanwhile, AWS will support flydubai in developing and scaling high-impact digital and AI use cases across operations and the customer journey. By leveraging AWS cloud, AI, and data analytics services, the collaboration aims to accelerate the delivery of production-ready solutions that improve efficiency and customer value.

Werner Vogels commented that the aviation sector is at a point where cloud technology, AI, and data analytics can significantly reshape operations and customer experiences. He added that the flydubai AWS collaboration will focus on accelerating innovation and creating more personalised travel journeys.
