Genetec Inc., a global enterprise physical security software, announced new intelligent automation (IA) investigation capabilities in Security Center SaaS. These features help operators quickly locate video evidence, understand event context, and close cases in minutes.

Investigations traditionally require hours of reviewing footage and switching between systems. The new capabilities centralize workflows in a modern, intuitive interface. Operators can now search for people or vehicles in live or recorded video using natural language and advanced filters.

Results are automatically enriched with contextual insights, including nearby activity, pre- and post-incident events, and similar-looking individuals. This streamlines the review process and reduces time spent tracking footage across large deployments.

Built on an open architecture, Security Center SaaS supports a wide range of cameras and devices. Organizations can choose the hardware that fits their needs while leveraging metadata from multiple camera makes and models. Advanced search capabilities provide accurate, contextual information faster.

Jonathan Doyon, Senior Product Group Director at Genetec, reported that security professionals often face pressure to analyze large volumes of video. “Our intelligent search enables faster, intuitive investigations, secure sharing of results, and a unified interface for context-aware analysis,” he said.
