Huawei launched its Middle East & Central Asia Commercial Roadshow in Baghdad, presenting ICT solutions to drive Iraq’s digital transformation. The event attracted over 200 industry leaders, customers, and partners from a variety of key sectors. These sectors included education, healthcare, government, real estate, and finance, all of which are central to Iraq’s growth.

Alex Zhang, Vice President of Enterprise Business for Huawei Middle East & Central Asia, spoke about Iraq’s digital transformation. He emphasized the importance of leveraging advanced technologies to foster growth in Iraq’s key sectors. By establishing strong partnerships, Iraq can unlock substantial opportunities for advancement in education, healthcare, government, and business.

The roadshow showcased Huawei’s innovative solutions, including smart classroom technologies and advanced medical imaging systems for the healthcare sector. The company also displayed secure data centers, designed to improve security and efficiency in Iraq’s businesses and government operations. In addition, intelligent office systems were presented, enabling companies to enhance productivity and streamline operations.

Huawei introduced the HUAWEI eKit platform, designed specifically to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The platform provides these businesses with the necessary digital tools to grow and compete in the global market. By focusing on SMEs, Huawei aims to help foster entrepreneurship and innovation across Iraq’s economy.

Jason Yang, Director of Commercial Business for Huawei ME&CA, reiterated Huawei’s commitment to Iraq’s digital future.
