Axis Communications has announced the launch of several advanced PTZ cameras and surveillance solutions at Intersec Dubai 2026. The company revealed products designed for complex urban and hazardous industrial environments, featuring radar fusion, explosion protection, and AI-powered analytics. The event takes place from 12 to 14 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

• AXIS Q6088-E PTZ Camera with Laser Focus technology for precise tracking in large outdoor areas.
• AXIS D2123-VE Radar combined with AXIS Q6358-LE PTZ Camera, offering radar-video fusion for accurate detection and autotracking.
• AXIS X1100 Explosion-Protected PTZ Camera, built for Zone 1 and Division 1 hazardous environments.
• AXIS P1486-LE Global Shutter Camera for capturing sharp images of fast-moving objects in traffic and enforcement scenarios.

Axis reported that the cameras integrate advanced features such as 4K resolution, AI-powered analytics, Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR, and hardware-based cybersecurity through Axis Edge Vault. The radar-enabled PTZ combination allows double-knock verification and seamless perimeter protection, reducing false alarms.

The AXIS X1100 Explosion-Protected PTZ Camera supports early detection of smoke, fire, and PPE compliance, while withstanding extreme temperatures and hazardous conditions. The AXIS P1486-LE camera delivers distortion-free images with continuous and strobing IR illumination, supporting traffic and security enforcement.
