Dubai strengthened its economic resilience during a specially convened Majlis. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, attended the gathering.

Nearly 300 senior leaders from Dubai’s business community joined the meeting. They discussed strategies to reinforce the emirate’s economic stability and growth.

His Highness emphasized that Dubai continues to move forward with confidence. He highlighted the vision of the UAE’s leadership and close partnership with the business sector. He said these efforts ensure sustainable growth and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for trade, tourism, and investment.

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism organized the Majlis. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to deepening cooperation with the private sector and promoting coordination across economic sectors.

Key officials also attended, including His Excellency Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications.

Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, provided updates during the private briefing. Other speakers included Major General Abdul Nasser Al Humaidi, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, and Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline.

The meeting reviewed measures to reinforce national economic resilience. It focused on sustaining economic momentum and supporting Dubai’s global leadership in trade, tourism, and investment.

Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy emphasized unity and cohesion. She praised the business community for demonstrating confidence and stability. She called for continued collective efforts to advance Dubai’s development and prosperity.

His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, highlighted the city’s future-ready economic ecosystem. He noted that Dubai continues to grow under the guidance of the UAE’s leadership and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Sir Tim Clark shared insights on Dubai’s aviation sector. He said operations are ramping up while maintaining top safety standards. He confirmed that global demand for travel through Dubai remains strong, reinforcing the city’s strategic role in aviation.

The Majlis concluded with a reaffirmed commitment to partnership between the government and private sector. Leaders pledged to advance Dubai’s economic growth, in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. This ensures Dubai economic resilience remains strong, securing its position as a trusted global hub for trade, investment, tourism, and innovation.
