LEAP East 2026 has announced its inaugural Hong Kong edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, taking place from 8-10 July. The event is co-organised by Tahaluf, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity Programming and Drones (SAFCSP).

The conference will feature over 300 expert speakers and 300 exhibitors. They will discuss advancements in fintech, gaming, robotics, AI, smart cities, digital transformation, and Web3. LEAP East will provide a platform for companies and innovators to explore emerging technologies and business opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Saudi companies stc and NHC Innovation have joined the event as Digital Enabler and Future Tech & Innovation Partner, respectively. Other partners include Elm, ewpartners, the Fintech Association of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Strategic Year, Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, and VS Partners.

LEAP East will also include a startup programme offering pitch competitions, mentorship sessions, investor matchmaking, and networking opportunities. In addition, the event’s Investor Programme will feature curated workshops and roundtables to connect investors with innovative startups.

Speakers confirmed so far represent 25 sectors and include H.E. Abdullah Alswaha, Alpha Lau, Cindy Chow, Michael Spranger, Dr. Ted Suen, Sunghyun Park, Kam Shing Kwang, Terry Wong, Yinglan Tan, Carol Lin, and Yanping Ziang.

Networking will be a key element, with events such as LEAP East Nights providing opportunities for meaningful connections. Attendees will also experience technology installations and other inspirational showcases.

Dr. Allan Zeman of Lan Kwai Fong Group commented that LEAP East highlights Hong Kong’s role as a hub for transformative ideas. Sunghyun Park of Rebellions added that the event brings together innovation and technology from Saudi Arabia and the APAC region, creating opportunities for cross-border advancements.
