The 6th edition of the Middle East Instrumentation, Cybersecurity & Automation EXPO (MEICA EXPO 2025) concluded at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi. The three-day event featured discussions, exercises, and insights into the future of industrial operations.

Organizers reported that MEICA EXPO 2025 brought together leaders from oil and gas, petrochemicals, heavy industries, utilities, and manufacturing. The event focused on secure, resilient, and digitally empowered industrial ecosystems.

Ahead of the opening, the Executive Roundtable powered by OMNY convened senior executives. They deliberated on “Building a Proactive & Resilient Cyber Strategy for Critical Infrastructure.” The discussions highlighted IT/OT convergence, global cybersecurity standards, and the role of digitalization in industrial defense.

Technical Chairman Salem Al Blooshi of ADNOC Distribution welcomed attendees. Distinguished representatives, sponsors, and partners were also present. Gilles Loridon, President of ISA UAE Section, and Nasser A. Al-Arjani, Engineering Manager at Aramco, delivered keynote addresses. They emphasized cybersecurity, automation, and instrumentation as key drivers of secure and efficient operations in the Middle East.

A major highlight was the National OT Cyber Drill Exercise, organized by the UAE Cybersecurity Council with Reach Digital and Shieldworkz. The exercise simulated real-world cyberattacks on operational technology. It tested the preparedness of technical teams, executives, and crisis managers. The drill reinforced the UAE’s leading role in industrial cybersecurity readiness.

Adding to the event’s momentum, an MoU was signed between Reach Digital and Xona Systems. Organizers announced the agreement will boost collaboration in cybersecurity innovation.

On the exhibition floor, MEICA EXPO 2025 showcased advanced solutions in instrumentation, control, automation, and cybersecurity. Delegates engaged with top technology providers, including:
