Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) announced it will showcase its latest artificial intelligence advancements at Intersec, taking place from January 12 to 14. The company revealed how its AI technologies help critical enterprises and security providers improve safety and situational awareness across large operations.

The company reported that its solutions support a shift from reactive incident detection to proactive response. These technologies are designed to help organizations act faster and manage risks more effectively.

Motorola Solutions highlighted Avigilon Visual Alerts, which uses conversational AI interfaces to expand the range of visual events detected across large camera networks. Security teams can create custom alerts tailored to their sites, such as detecting unauthorized vehicles near critical infrastructure or blocked fire exits. The system continuously scans camera feeds and alerts teams to support quick triage and response.

By deploying generative AI on-premise without relying on cloud connectivity, Motorola Solutions announced it is enabling video security systems to support broader operational needs. These include safety, compliance and logistics, beyond traditional intrusion detection.

Jehan Wickramasuriya, senior vice president of Security & Resilience Software at Motorola Solutions, said the technology helps teams save time and better tailor detection systems to real operational conditions. He added that the solutions support diverse environments, from refineries to hospitals.

Motorola Solutions reported that Visual Alerts supports sectors critical to the Middle East’s economy, including oil and gas and healthcare. The system delivers real-time AI-powered detections to improve safety, security and compliance. This includes identifying hazards, detecting patient falls and monitoring restricted areas.

Abdulrub Alsadeek, IT Director at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Center in Jeddah, said the AI-powered Avigilon platform helps security teams analyze events across large facilities and respond immediately using verified information.

In addition, Motorola Solutions announced it will showcase long-range cameras designed for extreme environments and operational resilience software that helps organizations prepare for and respond to incidents more efficiently.

Pedro Simoes, corporate vice president of Video Security & Access Control at Motorola Solutions, said the company’s AI technologies improve security, safety and operational efficiency while remaining simple for staff to use.

Key highlights presented at Intersec include:

  • AI-powered on-premise and cloud-connected video security systems
  • Advanced long-range cameras for complex environments
  • Operational resilience and access control software

Motorola Solutions reported that attendees can experience its full safety and security ecosystem at Sheikh Saeed Hall, stand SA-C11, during Intersec Dubai.
