NMK Electronics, a Midwich Group company, announced its collaboration with the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) as the exclusive technology partner of the Pause & Play stage at World Stage Design (WSD) 2025. The event, hosted for the first time in the Middle East, welcomed participants from over 80 countries, with 140 exhibitors, more than 300 facilitators, and nearly 1,200 attendees.

The Pause & Play stage reflected SPAA’s vision of blending creativity, education, and sustainability with advanced technology. Jacqui George, Director of WSD 2025, revealed that hosting the event in the UAE opens new cultural dialogues and strengthens the region’s role as a hub for innovation in performing arts.

NMK provided a complete ecosystem of audio, video, lighting, and control, integrating L-Acoustics speakers, Shure microphones, Allen & Heath mixers, and Chauvet Professional lighting. The setup delivered a seamless blend of artistry and technology, ensuring every sound and scene carried clarity and precision.

Diego Biagioni, Lead Tutor, Technical Skills at SPAA, reported that the collaboration highlighted the potential of combining world-class design, education, and collaboration.
