Nutanix has announced the general availability of Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Google Cloud. The launch enables enterprises to run, manage, and modernize applications, data, and AI across on-premises, edge, and public cloud environments.

Organizations are facing increasingly complex IT landscapes, balancing public cloud adoption with on-premises and edge operations. NC2 on Google Cloud provides a consistent platform that accelerates migration, simplifies operations, and supports innovation without requiring application refactoring. Unlike managed services, NC2 is a software solution that allows enterprises to retain control over deployments and data.

NC2 runs on Google Cloud’s Z3 and C4 Bare Metal instances, powered by Titanium. These Google Compute Engine bare metal servers are designed for high-performance and storage-intensive workloads. By running Nutanix Cloud Platform directly on physical servers, NC2 ensures performance, resilience, and scalability for demanding applications and databases.

The solution leverages Google Cloud’s global network to enable rapid deployment in new regions. Enterprises can deploy a full Nutanix cluster in hours, reducing hardware procurement delays and providing greater agility. NC2 is initially available in 17 Google Cloud regions and can be accessed via the Google Cloud Marketplace.

Hady Salameh, Senior Regional Sales Lead, SSA, Middle East, Egypt & Turkey at Nutanix, said, “Nutanix Cloud Clusters on Google Cloud gives organizations a fast, flexible way to extend into the cloud, scale globally, and modernize at their own pace — all without the usual complexity. By bringing on-prem and cloud environments together under one simple operating model, it helps teams stay focused on innovation. And with easy access to Google Cloud’s powerful AI and analytics capabilities, NC2 ensures businesses are ready not just for today’s demands, but for the opportunities of tomorrow.”
