Nutanix, a hybrid multicloud computing company, has announced the expansion of its AI infrastructure platform with Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI). This cloud-native offering supports deployment on any Kubernetes platform, including edge environments, core data centers, and public clouds like AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and Google GKE.

The Nutanix Enterprise AI platform simplifies hybrid multicloud operations, delivering optimized performance for accelerated AI workloads. By leveraging NVIDIA NIM, the platform allows organizations to securely deploy, run, and scale inference endpoints for large language models (LLMs). This facilitates the rapid deployment of generative AI (GenAI) applications, improving return on investment (ROI) and addressing challenges like data privacy, security, and cost.

The solution enables organizations to use their AI models and data in secure locations of their choice while maintaining a consistent operating model. Nutanix Enterprise AI supports NVIDIA accelerated computing and integrates with open foundation models like Hugging Face, providing flexibility and optimized model performance across cloud and on-premises environments.

The platform also offers transparent, infrastructure-based pricing, eliminating the unpredictability of token-based or usage-based models. With built-in security features and seamless scalability, Nutanix Enterprise AI addresses AI skill shortages, simplifies deployment, and mitigates privacy risks.

Key use cases include enhancing customer experiences, accelerating content creation, improving security through fraud detection and threat analysis, and leveraging private data for advanced analytics.

Nutanix Enterprise AI and GPT-in-a-Box 2.0, which includes Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes Platform, and Unified Storage, are now available.
