Kubernetes security is strengthened as Nutanix partners with RapidFort to enhance protections across the Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP). The collaboration aims to help enterprises deploy and manage cloud-native applications with greater confidence and speed.

Through this integration, RapidFort’s automated software supply chain security capabilities and near-zero CVE container images will be embedded into NKP. As a result, organizations can reduce vulnerabilities, streamline compliance, and secure workloads across data center, edge, and public cloud environments. Meanwhile, the approach supports consistent protection across distributed infrastructures.

In addition, the partnership addresses a key challenge for enterprises scaling Kubernetes: maintaining agility without increasing security and compliance risks. By extending protection into the software supply chain, customers can adopt a proactive, secure-by-design model while accelerating development and innovation.

Raif Abou Diab, General Manager, South Gulf & Sub-Saharan Africa at Nutanix, said the partnership marks an important step in helping organizations run secure and compliant Kubernetes environments at scale. He added that as enterprises in the region accelerate hybrid and multicloud adoption, integrating security directly into the platform is critical to enabling innovation without compromise.

Furthermore, the integrated solution is expected to be available to all NKP customers. It will support enterprise initiatives, including artificial intelligence and generative AI workloads. Overall, the collaboration reinforces a growing focus on Kubernetes security as organizations expand cloud-native adoption across hybrid and multicloud environments, making Kubernetes security a core priority for modern enterprises.
