Presight, a global AI and big data analytics company, has announced the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan. The agreement aims to establish strategic collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence.

The MoU was signed during the Tajikistan-UAE Business Forum in Dushanbe. The event was attended by H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, and H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Ariqi, UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan.

The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies was represented by Sherali Kabir, while Presight was represented by Maxat Koshumbayev, regional director of Central Asia operations.

Sherali Kabir stated that Tajikistan has developed a full AI supply chain—from green AI compute to synthetic data and AI in school curriculums. He expressed confidence in Presight as a strategic partner for Area AI, the country’s global AI technopark.

Maxat Koshumbayev praised Tajikistan’s digital transformation efforts and emphasized Presight’s commitment to supporting the country’s AI strategy. He noted that the partnership will bring long-term value to Tajikistan’s digital future and promote technological development in the region.

According to the agreement:

  • Pilot projects will explore AI-powered solutions for government and enterprise sectors such as smart cities, energy, and cybersecurity.
  • A joint working group will coordinate projects, support tech transfer, and promote AI innovation.

The MoU also includes plans to implement AI-based operational solutions at Dushanbe International Airport.

This partnership highlights the strengthening economic and technological ties between Tajikistan and the UAE. It also reflects Presight’s focus on driving digital transformation across Central Asia.
