Redington’s managed security services brand, DigiGlass, has joined forces with Sectrio, a global IoT and OT security solutions and managed security services company, to deliver complete OT managed security services worldwide.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in the industry as both companies combine their expertise to tackle the escalating cybersecurity challenges faced by businesses in the Middle East. Leveraging DigiGlass’s extensive experience in meeting digital transformation needs and Sectrio’s cutting-edge OT security solutions, the alliance aims to fortify businesses against evolving threats and implement proactive defense measures.

According to Sectrio’s IoT and OT Threat Landscape Assessment and Analysis Report, cyberattacks on critical infrastructure witnessed a staggering 188 percent increase in 2022. This rapid rise in sophisticated cyber threats emphasizes the critical need for robust security frameworks and institutional security enhancements. Through this strategic collaboration, DigiGlass and Sectrio will offer Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS) alongside a robust suite of managed security services to help prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats.

The key highlights of this partnership include the establishment of the first dedicated OT SOC in the GCC region. Additionally, the collaboration will bring Sectrio’s extensive experience in establishing SOCs to the Middle East, promoting secure adoption of Industry 4.0 in the region. The regional SOC will ensure local data retention, adhering to various emerging data localization requirements. SMEs will now have the advantage of leveraging security resources with improved Return on Investment (RoI) through shared tools and resources. With increasing investments in critical infrastructure in the region, governments will have a ready option to scale up their OT cybersecurity initiatives.
