SentinelOne, the AI-native cybersecurity company, announced the launch of Managed AI Defense. The new solution has been developed in partnership with Pax8, the leading cloud commerce marketplace for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

The offering is designed to close the cybersecurity gap for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs). Managed AI Defense delivers the same AI-driven protection trusted by large enterprises, now in a simple and cost-effective package.

SMBs face cyber threats equal to those targeting Fortune 500 companies. However, they often lack the budget, staff, or expertise to fight back. SentinelOne reported that Managed AI Defense changes this reality.

With per-endpoint pricing under a single SKU and an all-in-one security suite, MSPs and MSSPs can now deliver advanced threat prevention, detection, and response.

Tracy Ryan, AVP, Global MSSP/MSP at SentinelOne, said attackers do not discriminate by company size. She noted that every business can now harness AI to protect what matters most. She added that the partnership with Pax8 will enable MSPs and MSSPs to provide stronger security outcomes for SMBs.

The solution combines SentinelOne’s endpoint detection and response (EDR) with its Purple AI analyst, managed threat hunting, and vulnerability management. All features are fully integrated and easy to manage.

Partners can also tailor protection with optional add-ons such as:

  • Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
  • Remote Forensics
  • Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR)

This flexibility ensures customers receive exactly what they need to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Licensing will also be simplified, helping MSPs differentiate in a competitive market. The per-endpoint model allows partners to deliver stronger protection, clear pricing, and better ROI while streamlining deployment and billing.

Oguo Atuanya, Corporate Vice President of Vendor Experience at Pax8, stated that SMBs deserve the same protection trusted by Fortune 500 companies. He emphasized that partners can now provide this with minimal complexity and new growth opportunities.

Managed AI Defense will launch first with Pax8, with expansion planned to other aggregators and Master MSPs. SentinelOne confirmed it was designed for smooth adoption and easy scaling.

  • The marketplace enables seamless deployment, billing, and onboarding.
  • Partners can add optional SKUs to meet unique customer needs.
  • Existing Pax8 customers will face no disruption to current deployments.
