The AI Summit in New Delhi brought together H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India. The summit is taking place until 20 February 2026.

At the outset, Sheikh Khaled conveyed the greetings of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Prime Minister Modi. He extended best wishes for the Prime Minister’s health and for the continued progress and prosperity of India and its people.

In response, Prime Minister Modi welcomed the Crown Prince’s visit to attend the summit. He asked Sheikh Khaled to convey his sincere greetings to the UAE President. He also expressed his wishes for the continued success and development of the UAE and its people.

During the meeting, both sides explored ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the UAE and India. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation across economic and technology sectors. In addition, they reviewed opportunities for collaboration in healthcare and insurance investments.

Moreover, the talks reflected a shared commitment to sustainable development. Both sides emphasized the need to keep pace with changes in the global economy.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of advancing bilateral cooperation. This includes expanding trade and investment partnerships. It also involves strengthening the exchange of expertise, innovation, and knowledge across priority sectors.

Officials noted that the collaboration reflects strong economic ties between the two nations and their peoples. It aligns with shared long-term development goals. As a result, both countries aim to unlock opportunities in emerging and future-focused industries.

The meeting was attended by Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications; Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Faisal Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi; Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement, Abu Dhabi; Saif Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Media Office and Advisor of Strategic Relations at the Crown Prince Court; and Dr Abdulnasser Alshaali, Ambassador of the UAE to the Republic of India.

Overall, the AI Summit meeting underscored continued efforts by both countries to deepen cooperation in strategic, economic, and technology fields.
