His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the exhibition area of Dubai Airshow 2025 at Dubai World Central. The visit highlighted advancements in aviation, aerospace, air mobility, and defence technologies.

Officials reported that H.H. Sheikh Mohammed reviewed the latest innovations across global aviation and aerospace sectors. He was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; and H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee.

Sheikh Mohammed said that Dubai Airshow has become a premier global platform that connects industry leaders and innovators. He added that the event plays a critical role in shaping the next era of aviation and aerospace. He further noted that the UAE continues to enhance its economic and regulatory environment to support manufacturers and technology providers.

He stated that the aviation sector remains a key driver of national economic growth. He added that the event strengthens international cooperation and supports partnerships that advance development. The show reinforces Dubai’s status as a global hub for advanced aviation and aerospace technologies.

Officials reported that the event reflects strong international confidence in the UAE as a centre for research, development, and future-ready solutions. Sheikh Mohammed emphasised the nation’s ongoing investments, its commitment to empowering national talent, and the opportunities provided for global companies to innovate in Dubai.

He also highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in adopting advanced solutions. He said that Dubai maintains a partnership-driven approach to test, scale, and deliver new ideas.

During the tour, Sheikh Mohammed attended aerial displays featuring the UAE aerobatic team, Al Fursan, along with other teams showcasing advanced military and commercial aircraft.

He also visited multiple pavilions that showcased civil aviation systems, smart and sustainable technologies, aircraft and drones, and the latest global aviation innovations.
