Talabat, the on-demand delivery platform in the MENA region, has announced a new partnership with AdTech company Flyby. This collaboration introduces Smart Delivery Boxes across talabat’s delivery fleet in Dubai.

These boxes are digitally enhanced and transform delivery bikes into mobile, data-driven advertising platforms. They allow brands to reach consumers more effectively across the UAE.

According to talabat, the Smart Delivery Boxes feature digital LED screens that display geo-targeted ads. This turns everyday delivery routes into mobile, real-time advertising opportunities.

The initiative reflects talabat’s ongoing commitment to sustainable and tech-driven operations.

Pedram Assadi, COO at talabat, revealed that the company is focused on enriching its ecosystem for riders, partners, and communities. He added that this partnership enables scalable, hyperlocal campaigns that deliver brand moments where they matter most.

Cheyenne Kamran, CEO of Flyby, reported that the solution turns last-mile logistics into intelligent, connected media. He explained that platforms like talabat can unlock more value from their fleet and redefine urban engagement.

The Smart Delivery Boxes offer several key features:

  • Mobile digital billboards with LED screens displaying targeted ads in high-traffic areas.
  • Real-time dashboards with impression counts and campaign analytics.
  • Geo-fencing technology to target ads by location and time.

Moreover, the boxes support sustainability goals. Ads are only displayed while bikes are in motion, reducing energy waste. They are cloud-connected via 4G and 5G, allowing seamless remote updates and eliminating printed materials.

This partnership positions talabat as a tech-first delivery platform, where innovation benefits customers, partners, and the wider community.
