The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), part of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), has announced the onboarding of a new group of tech startups. This marks the 47th round of its flagship Start IT incubation program.

The program is a core component of ITIDA’s broader strategy to empower youth, foster innovation, and accelerate the growth of early-stage technology ventures in Egypt. It targets entrepreneurs with ICT-driven ideas or prototypes and helps them build scalable, investment-ready startups.

ITIDA revealed that the new cohort intake reaffirms its commitment to supporting a vibrant and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country.

The kickoff event featured a networking session for the new cohort and alumni. This gathering promoted peer learning, cross-collaboration, and knowledge exchange, building a strong tech startup community.

Eight new startups presented solutions addressing key sectors such as healthcare, education, sports, logistics, and e-commerce.

  • Cluster is developing a health-tech platform to streamline pharmaceutical supply chains.
  • Mystery Bag is working on reducing food waste through digital redistribution.
  • Converse2Note uses AI to convert doctor-patient talks into structured reports.
  • Coccarohome connects women artisans with customers for handmade home décor.

During the event, ITIDA also launched Start IT Perks. This new benefits platform offers discounted access to premium digital tools and services. Partners include Talents Arena, Sprints, The WhiteGuard, Qayedeny, Camion, Techie Matter, DevisionX, and Zurqa. The platform aims to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs for startups.

ITIDA recently revealed an expansion of the incubation package. Each startup will now receive support worth EGP 480,000, up from EGP 180,000. This includes both financial grants and in-kind services to help them meet development goals.

Additionally, ITIDA confirmed that Amazon Web Services (AWS) support has doubled. Each startup now receives $10,000 in cloud credits, enabling access to advanced cloud infrastructure.

The program also focuses on talent and technical enablement. Through partnerships with Talents Arena, Sprints, and Techie Matter, founders can access skilled tech talent. ITIDA has also introduced specialized AI training and advisory sessions for startups developing digital and AI-powered solutions.

The initiative underlines ITIDA’s continued efforts to grow Egypt’s tech startup landscape.
