The UAE AI Camp has concluded its seventh edition, announced the National Programme for Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with the National Programme for Coders.

The initiative aimed to prepare a new generation equipped with digital transformation skills. It focused on developing talent capable of building and applying AI solutions to drive innovation and sustainability across vital sectors.

The camp ran from mid-July to mid-August. It featured more than 70 knowledge sessions, interactive workshops, including nine virtual workshops, as well as hackathons, challenges, and lectures.

Officials revealed that the camp engaged all segments of society. Participants included children, school and university students, young professionals, AI specialists, and coding experts. The program was structured around seven themes:

  • the future of AI, data science, and machine learning
  • AI in education, healthcare, and finance
  • robotics, AI governance, ethics, cybersecurity, VR, and AR

The event was organised in partnership with government entities, private firms, and global tech companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Huawei, Dell Technologies, and Emirates Global Aluminium.

Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, reported that the camp serves as a national platform for youth development in digital skills. He added that the camp combines theory with practical learning, empowering national talent and inspiring innovation.

He highlighted that the program prepares participants to understand AI tools and contribute to a smarter and sustainable future.

The seventh edition featured workshops on creative AI, AI agents, leadership in emerging technologies, future skills, and AI for sustainability. Cybersecurity awareness sessions targeted both children and parents, addressing risks and opportunities in the digital era.

Young learners also explored intelligent robotics kits with AI-powered sensors and cameras. They engaged in interactive games, design exercises, and storytelling activities to boost creativity and future readiness.

Since its launch, the UAE AI Camp has attracted over 34,000 participants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. The program continues to play a central role in advancing the nation’s vision for AI-driven growth and innovation.
