GISEC Global announced its participation in the Cyber Run & Ride in Abu Dhabi on 17–18 January 2026, highlighting the importance of UAE Cybersecurity and promoting digital safety beyond the workplace and into everyday life.

Hosted by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and sponsored by the UAE Cybersecurity Council, the Cyber Run & Ride combines running and cycling with a mission to promote healthy lifestyles. It also encourages safe digital practices and responsible technology use.

The event brings together professionals, families, and fitness enthusiasts to support safer online behavior. Participants can take part in running races on 17 January, including half-marathon, 10km, 5km, and 2.5km distances. Cycling will be offered on 18 January in a non-timed format.

Attendees will also engage in cyber awareness activities, learning practical steps to protect themselves online. These include safe password practices and identifying digital threats, demonstrating how small actions contribute to overall digital resilience.

GISEC Global highlighted that cybersecurity affects everyday life and requires collective responsibility from individuals, governments, and organizations. The initiative aligns with its wider mission to foster collaboration across the cybersecurity ecosystem.

GISEC Global will next convene the international cybersecurity community at GISEC Global 2026, scheduled for 5–7 May 2026 at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai. The event will gather innovators, policymakers, and decision-makers to discuss critical challenges shaping the digital future.
