UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Jeff Bezos, Founder and Executive Chairman of Amazon, during a meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi.

Officials reported that the discussion focused on strengthening cooperation. They also revealed efforts to foster partnerships in innovation, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence. Moreover, the meeting highlighted the importance of applying these tools in key sectors including education, healthcare, and the economy.

The parties announced that such collaboration aims to support development, improve quality of life, and contribute to progress and prosperity.

Jeff Bezos commended the UAE for its forward looking vision. He also praised the country’s approach to adopting future technologies in ways that benefit society and national development.

The meeting was attended by H H Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council, and Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority. Several senior officials were also present.
