Dubai Health has launched the Unified Health Screening initiative. It combines medical fitness examinations for residency and occupational health into a single digital application. The move streamlines procedures and simplifies the customer experience.

The initiative is a collaboration between Dubai Health Authority, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, Dubai Municipality, the Supreme Legislation Committee, and the Department of Finance. It is part of the ‘City Makers’ initiative of the General Secretariat of The Executive Council of Dubai. The project supports Dubai’s Social Agenda 33 and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

The service allows professionals from various sectors to apply for health screenings through a smart digital platform. The process integrates all required medical fitness and occupational health checks into one visit. Once results are finalised, residency is issued automatically.

This step also links databases across relevant authorities. It ensures faster and more accurate procedures. It enhances data reliability and reduces duplication of efforts.

His Excellency Dr. Alawi Alsheikh-Ali, Director General of Dubai Health Authority, said the launch reflects Dubai’s commitment to joint government work. “It streamlines medical fitness examinations and strengthens digital pathways,” he added.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, stated that the service embodies Dubai’s integrated government model. He highlighted secure information exchange and smooth residency issuance.

Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, noted that the initiative improves inspection operations. It supports compliance with occupational health and safety standards and enhances emergency response readiness.

Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health and President of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), said the service unifies procedures and simplifies the customer journey. He added that it strengthens Dubai’s position as a leading model in integrated government services.

The Unified Health Screening service is available at Dubai Health medical fitness centres, including Garhoud, Al Nahda, Al Karama, Al Yalayis, Bur Dubai, Jebel Ali Free Zone, Zabeel, and Smart Salem centres. Expansion of centres and capacity is planned to meet growing demand.

The launch of Unified Health Screening marks a major step in improving government efficiency and enhancing the health and safety of residents.
