Veeam Software, the global Data Resilience by market share, today announced the appointment of Doriane Groene as Senior Director, Microsoft Alliance for EMEA.

Doriane brings over 20 years of high-tech experience and a strong record in driving strategic partnerships across the Microsoft ecosystem.

Most recently, she led Intel’s EMEA Microsoft Global Account Team. There, she spearheaded initiatives that boosted revenue through Azure Marketplace, developed advanced co-selling programs, and supported enterprise digital transformation.

Her expertise covers intelligent edge technologies, Azure cloud solutions, and data-driven strategies. Earlier, she worked at Imation and Philips Laser Magnetic Storage, strengthening her foundation in enterprise technology.

The appointment comes as Microsoft and partners focus on Cloud and AI as drivers of transformation in 2026. Veeam is aligned with this vision, enabling organizations to enhance efficiency, cut costs, and grow through secure and intelligent Data Resilience solutions.

Tim Pfaelzer, General Manager and Senior Vice President for EMEA at Veeam, said the Microsoft alliance is central to Veeam’s vision. He added that Doriane’s leadership will help expand engagement and deliver joint innovation in Cloud and AI.

Alex de Haro, Senior Director for EMEA VCSP, Alliance and Global System Integrators at Veeam, revealed that Doriane’s strategic mindset and collaborative approach will strengthen partnerships with Microsoft across EMEA.

Doriane said she is excited to join Veeam at this important time. She emphasized helping organizations in EMEA harness Cloud, Data Resilience, and AI to innovate, improve security, and meet business goals.

She holds an MSc from CNAM and executive leadership certificates from HEC Paris and Imperial College. She is passionate about relationship-building, coaching teams, and solving challenges with data-led approaches.
