As part of its community development initiatives, Yellow Door Energy conducted seven educational workshops for students across the UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, and South Africa. Notable programs include:

  • Project Daw in Jordan: Co-funded by Actis Acts, this program trained 20 Jordanian youths in solar power system design, installation, and maintenance. It also provided a solar system to a community center in Mafraq at no cost.
  • INJAZ Solar Plant Tour in Bahrain: Yellow Door Energy hosted 20 secondary school students for an educational tour at its solar power plant at City Centre Bahrain.

With over 350 MWp of projects in operation, under construction, or in planning, Yellow Door Energy remains a leader in the regional solar sector. The company offers innovative solar leases and power purchase agreements (PPAs) that help businesses transition to solar energy without incurring upfront costs.

The newly commissioned plants feature 61,500 solar panels and utilize rooftop, ground-mounted, and carport solar applications. The projects required over 550,000 person-hours to complete, all while maintaining a perfect safety record, reflecting the company’s dedication to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

To date, Yellow Door Energy’s operational projects have generated 842,000 MWh of clean electricity, avoiding 328,000 metric tons of carbon emissions and supporting regional Net Zero goals.

Looking ahead, Yellow Door Energy continues to lead the way in sustainable energy solutions, with more projects and milestones expected in 2025.
