A new dynamic profile photo feature that allows users to set both an image and an avatar as their profile photo has been unveiled by Instagram. The social networking platform tweeted, “Now you can put your avatar on the other side of your pic – and those who visit your profile can flip between the two.
Once you’ve created your avatar, you can use it as your profile picture and in various other ways on Instagram. To edit your avatar, you can follow these steps:
Open Instagram on your smartphone
Tap on your profile or your profile picture
Next, tap on Edit Profile at the top
Scroll down to the avatar section and tap on Edit avatar
From there, you can make changes to your avatar’s appearance, such as changing the skin tone, hairstyle, and outfit.
Once you’re finished making changes, tap on Done and Save changes to save your changes.
Instagram just made Quiet Mode available to users. Instagram users will be able to notify their followers that they are not active on the site by setting their account’s status to “In Quiet Mode” with the new feature. According to Instagram, the new function is intended to urge young users to cut back on their screen usage.
