Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ADNEC Group is set to host the 16th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2023) and the 7th edition of the Naval Defence Exhibition and Conference (NAVDEX 2023), which will take place on 20-24 February 2023.
IDEX and NAVDEX provide a worldwide platform, showcasing the latest international defence innovations and technologies, along with the most advanced technology and equipment developed by defence industries across the world. The previous editions in 2021 recorded renowned success, welcoming over 62,000 visitors and more than 900 local, regional and international companies from 59 countries, in addition to hosting 35 national pavilions.
The events, which are being organised by ADNEC Group at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, are expected to highlight a variety of innovative features and draw notable attendees and exhibitors from the global defence industry.
IDEX will be marking its 30th edition along with NAVDEX where it is expected to host high-calibre participation, including leaders, decision-makers, ministers and senior officials, as well as industry experts and professionals from all over the world.
IDEX and NAVDEX will launch IDEX Next Gen, a startup-focused area where entrepreneurs can show off their products and innovations for the defence and naval sectors to influential people in the business. The activities will also debut the Innovation Trail, a targeted tour of the exhibition that will highlight the most recent goods and technologies from the biggest firms in the world for the defence and naval industries. To be considered for inclusion in this carefully curated journey, exhibitors will be able to submit their most recent and cutting-edge goods and services. This will intrigue thousands of both domestic and foreign buyers.
