The pursuit of safeguarding children’s online experiences takes center stage as eSafe, in partnership with Tachyon IT Consultancy, Middlesex University Dubai, and TECHx Media, presents the eSafe Child Online Protection Award 2023 & STOGO FEST.

Set to unfold over two enlightening days on the 22nd and 23rd of April 2024, this collaborative effort is under the distinguished patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, UAE (Honorary President of eSafe).

Kicking off on April 22nd, 2024 at the esteemed Middlesex University Dubai campus, the STOGO FEST brings together students from over 80 schools to showcase their ingenuity. Their projects, ranging from working models to still models and presentations, will orbit around the pivotal theme of “Students Well Being in Physical and Virtual World.” An illustrious panel of 15 jurors will meticulously evaluate these projects based on criteria such as thematic relevance, originality, impact, technical proficiency, and presentation clarity. Anticipating a gathering of over 2,000 visitors, including students from diverse schools across the UAE, the STOGO FEST promises to be a hub of innovation and inspiration.

Transitioning to the 23rd of April 2024, the spotlight will shift to the eSafe Child Online Protection Award 2023. This prestigious ceremony will honor exceptional contributions across various categories, including Working Model (3), Still Model (3), Presentation (3), eSafe COP Award (10), and SID Poster Designing (9). Joining the event on this auspicious day will be the esteemed winners of the STOGO FEST, participants of the SID Poster Designing Competition, and representatives from 10 schools for the COP Award, alongside educators, students, volunteers, and distinguished guests.

The inaugural speech will be delivered by Eng. Adel Alkaff Alhashmi, Chairman of the 2nd Edition of the eSafe Child Online Protection Award 2023 and Vice Chairman of Emirates Safer Internet Society (eSafe), setting a tone of commitment and dedication.
