The official edition of the “Lift My Car” app, the Middle East’s largest and most comprehensive vehicle recovery app, will be accessible to the public by mid-December, according to Emirati entrepreneur Rashed Khalaf Al Nayli, once all development and approval work is completed.
The “Lift My Car” app will initially comprise over 500 recovery vehicles around the UAE, allowing customers to book the” closest recovery service in a short amount of time via their cellphones. The app would connect the user to the nearest available recovery vehicle driver for a cheap charge payable through a secure electronic payment mechanism, according to Al Nayli.
“I am most grateful to the support that the UAE offers to innovative ideas, projects, and young entrepreneurs. Thanks to the country’s highly advanced digital infrastructure and legislative system, I’m able to develop and publish the Lift My Car app. And I’m extremely hopeful that this app will be of great benefit and service to everyone in the UAE, especially with the absence of an integrated and dedicated platform to request recovery vehicle services, similar to the other available car and delivery services application,” Al Nayli said.
Al Nayli further mentioned that the app may be used by transportation and towing organizations and drivers who want to become service providers for the app. Companies can enhance their earnings and extend their operations by leveraging the app’s prospective consumer database.
He went on to say that when the app is released on the App Store and Google Play Store, it will almost certainly have a high download rate due to its functionality and convenience, which saves time and effort in finding recovery vehicles in emergency situations and car breakdowns all over the country. The program also offers transportation choices for vehicles that require particular arrangements or privacy protection, such as sports and premium cars.
The app was created over several months by a team of local and foreign app developers, according to Al Nayli. According to a Frost & Sullivan analysis, the application’s initial operating phase will focus on the UAE market, with the second phase focusing on the GCC region, which is expected to have 19 million vehicles on the road by 2020, according to a Frost & Sullivan analysis.
It’s worth noting that several ground-breaking apps were built in the UAE in recent years, with some of them acquiring millions of users in the area and their creators receiving acquisition bids worth hundreds of millions of dollars. In addition to having one of the greatest numbers of smartphone users in the world, the UAE’s digital infrastructure makes it the most enticing and advantageous location for app developers. According to Hootsuite and We Are Social’s “World Digital Report 2021,” 97.6% UAE’s of UAE citizens had a smartphone, and UAE people spent 320 million hours on smartphone apps in 2020.
