Logitech Video Collaboration brought together more than 100 tier-1 partners, distributors, and solution integrators to outline its channel strategy, showcase its latest solutions, share best practice, and celebrate recent successes.

The full-day event, which took place at Grand Millennium Hotel in Dubai, included talks by Logitech executives Nancy Thomas, global head of distribution for video collaboration; Brooke Ellingworth, EMEA vice president of distribution; Eamon O’Doherty, Enterprise Director, Fast Expanding Markets, and Loubna Imenchal, head of video collaboration, Africa, Middle East, and Central Asia.

The event included an awards ceremony to recognise outstanding success in the partner community, in addition to training sessions, and a team-building event at Topgolf Dubai.

Imenchal said: “It was wonderful to see so many of our valued partners together under one roof. The channel ecosystem is a key pillar of Logitech’s strategy in the region, and this event presented an excellent opportunity to shine a spotlight on our regional strategy, highlight our latest innovations in video collaboration, and ensure our partners have all the knowledge they need to succeed.”

Logitech is experiencing rapid growth in its video collaboration business in the Middle East, as hybrid working models remain popular even as the impact of the global pandemic abates. Cutting-edge solutions, including the Logitech Rally Bar video conferencing solutions for small, medium and large rooms, and Logitech Scribe, an AI-powered whiteboard camera for meeting rooms and classrooms, have cemented Logitech’s lead in the video collaboration space.

In 2021, Logitech was ranked #1 worldwide in video conferencing hardware by Synergy Research. Logitech accounted for nearly 55 percent of all video conferencing devices sold in the Q1 FY21, and over 35 percent of the industry’s revenue, the research firm stated. Logitech was also named the market Leader in Video Conferencing Devices by Frost & Sullivan, recognising the company that has achieved the greatest market share resulting from outstanding performance, products, and services.

Earlier in February, Logitech announced its latest video collaboration innovation in the form of RightSight 2 software which simultaneously presents both a close-up view of the individual speaker and a view of the entire meeting room during video calls, with the aim of creating more equitable experiences for hybrid workers.

In September, Logitech unveiled Logi Dock, an all-in-one docking station with one-touch meeting controls and a built-in speakerphone, to simplify personal workspaces and improve the video meeting experience for remote and hybrid workers using platforms including Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.

Founded in 1981, and headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, Logitech International is a Swiss public company listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
