Gartner has recognized ManageEngine for Unified Endpoint Management Tools. The company announced that it had been recognized as a Niche Player in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Tools for 2021. The award is based on examining ManageEngine’s main UEM product, Desktop Central, for its execution capability and completeness of vision. ManageEngine was named to the Magic Quadrant, along with seven other vendors.

“The need for a unified tool to manage and secure employees’ devices is at an all-time high, as more and more organizations tackle a hybrid workforce fast-tracked into adoption by the pandemic,” said Mathivanan Venkatachalam, vice president of ManageEngine.

Also noted, “This recognition by Gartner validates our alignment with our customers’ requirements and our delivery of integrated device management and security.”

“ManageEngine Desktop Central is a comprehensive tool to centralize your endpoint management across Windows, macOS and Linux machines,” said an IT security manager in a Gartner Peer Insights review.

Further added, “It offers operating system and third-party patch management with automation capabilities to test and deploy patches. Desktop Central provides great visibility via standard and custom reports, and great support services.”

Highlights of Desktop Central

Desktop Central automates day-to-day device management tasks across very heterogeneous device and OS ecosystems, from onboarding to retirement. It meets demands such as remote help and endpoint security that go beyond the capabilities of traditional and current device management. This method reduces the need for several siloed tools to meet diverse needs.

Desktop Central interacts with a variety of ManageEngine and third-party IT management and security technologies, allowing users to easily incorporate the UEM solution into their existing IT ecosystem. ManageEngine continues to strengthen its regional support and implementation services, upping its already broad capabilities.
