The partnership involves the deployment of Dell PowerEdge Servers powered by AMD EPYC™ processors, NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPUs, and NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand networking. This collaboration enables NYUAD to access raw data, improve prediction accuracy, and generate faster research outcomes using artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) initiatives.
The advanced computing environment provided by Dell’s technology offers NYUAD a significant boost in performance, allowing the university to conduct unparalleled scientific computing, AI, and cloud data center operations at a reduced cost and complexity. Additionally, NYUAD has been appointed as one of Dell’s Centers of Excellence (COE), joining a prestigious group of institutions dedicated to advancing scientific discoveries through advanced computing technologies. This COE status grants NYUAD access to Dell experts, facilitating collaboration on HPC, AI, and deep learning projects, while also fostering the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
