Samsung and Warner Bros. Pictures join for 8K movie trailers

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a prominent TV manufacturer, has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring highly-anticipated movie trailers in 8K quality to consumers worldwide. Through this collaboration, Neo QLED 8K screens will be featured in over 65,000 retail stores, showcasing the capabilities of this technology.

Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed excitement about the partnership and its potential to showcase 8K content and enhance the cinematic experience for consumers.

The partnership was tested by featuring the “Creed III” trailer in numerous retail stores in the United States and Europe, receiving significant attention and indicating a growing demand for 8K content. As a result, the program has been expanded to include trailers for other upcoming films like “Barbie,” “Blue Beetle,” “Dune: Part Two,” “Wonka,” and “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

The collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures, known for its global presence in entertainment creation and distribution, aligns with Samsung’s efforts to bring high-quality entertainment to consumers.

Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K screens, powered by Neural Quantum Processor 8K and Quantum Matrix Technology, offer impressive picture quality with precise details, colors, and depth, providing consumers with an advanced viewing experience in the TV market.
