Huawei, the global tech giant, is awarding US$15,000 to each of the top three gaming apps in the recently launched Huawei Global App Innovation Contest (Apps UP) 2022 – Middle East and Africa (MEA) edition to celebrate the mobile gaming industry boom. Through this competition and other initiatives, Huawei encourages mobile game developers.
The study looks at the different sorts of mobile apps and games that have become popular among the people of all age groups in the region, and how it will affect market growth.
Amazon’s participation in the tournament in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia will assist upscale the competition by improving awareness and growth prospects for players, and providing interesting prizes and resources for participating teams.
“With consumers spending more time online than ever before, in-app purchases are on the rise as a result, and the Middle East market has been no exception to this trend in 2021,” explained Karam Malhotra.
