Khalifa University of Science and Technology announced that it will host Siemens Energy’s Abu Dhabi Innovation Centre at its Sas Al Nakhl Campus.
Siemens is partnering with OTE Group, one of Oman’s biggest business houses, in the delivery of its electric vehicle (EV) chargers to help accelerate the Sultanate’s adoption of EVs and its transition to a sustainable future.
“As one of the largest universities in the UK, the University is already an energy prosumer, and these technologies will be further optimized in the future energy system we are now working together to achieve. Partnerships like this are extremely important for gathering new insights, testing and developing new technologies and creating efficient and sustainable energy infrastructures,” said Matthias Rebellius.
