Tech Mahindra achieves AWS Level 1 MSSP status to provide next-gen security services

Tech Mahindra achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Level 1 Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) status to provide next-gen security services.

This distinction acknowledges that Tech Mahindra has completed all of AWS’s standards for Level 1 Managed Security Services, which secure and monitor critical AWS resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

AWS established this new quality standard for managed security services to benefit cloud systems of all sizes, and it covers six major cybersecurity domains:

  1. Vulnerability Management,
  2. Cloud Security Best Practices and Compliance,
  3. Threat Detection and Response,
  4. Network Security,
  5. Host And Endpoint Security, and
  6. Application Security.

Multiple MSSP services are available in each of the six domains, each with AWS-specific technical skillsets and operational process requirements.

As part of its cloud adoption journey, Tech Mahindra has been recognized for its Managing Security Service (MSS) expertise, which provides next-generation cybersecurity services, best practices, and compliance.

AWS developed the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency to make it easier for customers to get AWS-verified security monitoring and management. Each MSSP’s tools and operational processes are audited annually to ensure that they are meeting unique cloud security concerns such as continuous event monitoring, triaging, AWS service configuration best practices, and 24/7 incident response. Customers may choose the correct MSSP to help them reach their business risk and cloud strategy confidence goals faster and simpler with the AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency.
