At LEAP 2022 in Riyadh from February 1-3, 2022, Dell Technologies will lead the conversation on new technologies and empower Saudi Arabia in its quest for a digitally ready future. LEAP, the world’s largest technological event, seeks to become a worldwide platform, linking pioneers and disruptors with corporations, government, and investors to explore and solve the world’s most pressing socio-cultural issues using future technologies.

Saudi Arabia’s game-changing development plans will rely heavily on data to fuel its myriad digital efforts. Data insights will be critical in achieving Saudi Arabia’s strategic roadmap to becoming one of the world’s most powerful economies, giving the country a competitive advantage in the digital era. According to the Dell Technologies 2021 Global Data Protection Index, 70% of Saudi respondents claim their company is data-driven and that data is the lifeblood of their firm. As a result, 59 percent of respondents in Saudi Arabia claimed they were gathering data quicker than they could analyse and use it. This data explosion provides enterprises with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to act and turn data into actionable business insights.

“Saudi Arabia today stands at the threshold of change, underpinned by the nation’s ambitious vision and drive to transform, innovate and build a legacy for generations to come. While emerging technologies are transforming how the government, businesses, and the society unlock the opportunities presented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it also calls for navigating and turning the vast amounts of data into actionable outcomes,” said Mohamed Talaat, Vice-President, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Levant, Dell Technologies.

“Dell Technologies remains committed to advancing the country’s transformation agenda as we empower local organizations with end-to-end infrastructure and client solutions that not only support a data-driven work culture but is also capable of predicting the future and achieving better business results. We are excited to be a part of the launch edition of LEAP and look forward to engaging with local businesses and lead industry-wide discussions in helping Saudi Arabia build a successful digital roadmap in the new data era,” he added.

Dell Technologies will demonstrate its end-to-end infrastructure solutions, which include multi-cloud, digital workplace, 5G, Edge, and Internet of Things (IoT). Aongus Hegarty, Dell Technologies’ President of International Sales, will speak on a panel titled “What are the technologies that can alleviate city challenges and improve citizen quality of life?” During the three-day event, other top company executives will give views on how best-of-breed technologies can help regional firms accept market shifts and build resilience and agility in the digital economy.
