Parkin Company PJSC, Dubai’s paid public parking provider, has announced a 10-year agreement with charge&go, a subsidiary of Etisalat Services Holding (ESH). The partnership will expand Dubai EV infrastructure with the launch of 200 ultra-fast direct current (DC) charging stations.

The network is scheduled to go live in October 2025. Parkin reported that the project will reduce charging times to under 30 minutes. Stations will be installed at key destinations across the city, including residential communities, retail areas, and leisure hubs.

Phase one will roll out 20 charging stations at busy locations. Within twelve months, the program will add 200 public and private charging points.

  • The new network supports more than 40,000 EVs.
  • It aligns with Dubai’s 2040 urban master plan for green mobility.

Parkin revealed that its mobile app will allow users to reserve chargers, check real-time status, and make secure in-app payments. The project also includes a “park and charge” protocol, ensuring charging bays are used only during active charging.

Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, stated that the partnership reflects a commitment to sustainable, tech-driven mobility. He added that working with e& will accelerate EV adoption and support Dubai’s transformation into a future-ready city.

Muammar Al Rukhaimi, CEO of Etisalat Services Holding, reported that the initiative marks a decisive step in making green mobility accessible. He noted that the project combines cutting-edge technology with faster turnaround times and enhanced customer experience.

Parkin, which manages around 212,000 paid parking spaces in Dubai, had signed an MoU with charge&go during GITEX 2024. The rollout reinforces both companies’ focus on delivering value-added mobility solutions.
