Acer today announced the new Acer Swift Air 16 (SFA16-61M), the latest addition to its thin-and-light Swift laptop lineup. Designed for professionals on the go, the laptop combines AI computing, immersive visuals, and an ultra-light design.

The Swift Air 16 features the latest AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series processors, including up to the AMD Ryzen™ AI 7 350. This ensures smooth execution of local AI applications, faster responsiveness, and low power consumption. Acer reported that the device supports video conferencing, streaming, editing, and other demanding tasks.

As a Copilot+ PC, the laptop offers AI features such as Recall (preview), Click to Do (preview), and improved Windows Search. Users benefit from fast boot times, ample storage, and seamless performance across applications.

The laptop weighs under 1 kilogram (2.18 pounds) and is built from magnesium-aluminum alloy, offering durability while remaining highly portable. It comes in four color profiles, fitting easily into workspaces from coffee shops to boardrooms.

The 16-inch display options include WQXGA+ AMOLED with 120 Hz or WUXGA IPS with 60 Hz. The AMOLED panel provides deep blacks, vivid colors, and full DCI-P3 support, ideal for designers and freelancers.

Additional features include a 2MP FHD IR camera with privacy shutter for Windows Hello, dual speakers and microphones, and versatile connectivity including two USB Type-C ports, USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth.

The Acer Swift Air 16 will be available in EMEA starting November, with prices from USD 999.
